My wife and I watched disturbing films three Friday nights in a row. All three illustrate the human condition. All three (I must say) were at my suggestion.
The Talented Mr. Ripley -- features a man whose talents included lying, impersonation, and forgery.
Doubt -- features a Roman Catholic nun who brings a dubious accusation against a priest.
The Boy in the Striped Pajamas -- features the son of a Nazi commandant who befriends a Jewish boy (of the same age) in a internment camp.
We're due for a light hearted comedy. Any suggestions?
Marley and Me. It IS kind of sad, but heart-warming too.
ReplyDelete27 Dresses... but kind of a chick flick
Elaine recommends Eddie w/ Whoopie Goldberg

Thanks for your suggestions, Cynthia.
ReplyDeleteA few of my favorite films (e.g. "You've Got Mail") are chick flicks.
